To provide an authentication device that can be manufactured in a simplified manner.SOLUTION: An authentication device 21 comprises: a terminal authentication part 22 for executing authentication of a terminal 17; and an electronic key function part 23 that executes ID collation with a collation ECU 9, via a communication network of an electronic key system 4. The electronic key function part 23 actuates a vehicle 1 through the ID collation via the communication network of the electronic key system 4, when the authentication of the terminal 17 is established by the terminal authentication part 22.
