The vehicle control device 10 is provided with an automatic operation control part 12 performing automatic operation of the vehicle 2 and an identification part 11 identifying an object to transport by the body 3. The automatic operation control part 12 changes modes of automatic operation on the basis of a result of identification of the identification part 11.
