Zusammenfassung:To provide a communication cable that has improved transmission characteristics when transmitting high-speed signals.SOLUTION: A communication cable 1 is provided with a plurality of shielded core wires 4, each shielded core wire 4 being provided with: a core wire 2 having an insulator 22 that covers the periphery of one or more conductors 21 individually or collectively; and a longitudinally wound shielding tape 3 which covers the periphery of the core wire 2. Between the plurality of shielded core wires adjacent to each other in the circumferential direction and a metal shielding layer 6, a plurality of gaps C are included. In the plurality of shielded core wires, one end portion of the shielding tape in the width direction and a longitudinally wound winding-end-side end portion 3a are located further to the outside in the radial direction of the communication cable than the center position of the core wires 2, and the other end portion is located on the inner side of the longitudinal winding. In the width direction of the shielding tape, the shielding tape faces one gap of the plurality of gaps from the other end portion to the winding-end-side end portion, and after facing the metal shielding layer, the winding-end-side end portion of the shielding tape faces a different gap from the one gap.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】高速信号を伝送した際の伝送特性の向上させる通信ケーブルを提供する。【解決手段】通信ケーブル1は、一本以上の導体21の周囲を個別又は一括して覆う絶縁体22を有するコア線2と、その周囲を覆う縦添え巻きシールドテープ3とを有するシールド付きコア線4を複数備え、周方向に隣り合う複数のシールド付きコア線と金属シールド層6との間に隙間Cを複数有する。複数のシールド付きコア線の夫々は、シールドテープの幅方向一方の端部、かつ、縦添え巻きの外側巻き終わり側端部3aが、コア線の中心位置よりも通信ケーブルの径方向外側となるように配置され、他方の端部が縦添え巻きの内側にある。シールドテープの幅方向において、シールドテープは、他方端部から巻き終わり側端部にかけて、複数の隙間のうち一方の隙間に面し、金属シールド層と対向した後に、シールドテープの巻き終わり側端部が、一方の隙間とは異なる隙間に臨む。【選択図】図1
