To provide an aromatic liquid which is volatilized by being impregnated in a liquid member, and is used by a vaporizer not performing the supply of the aromatic liquid to a liquid absorbing member during use, has a high average volatilization speed during a use period, and hardly generates a difference in the intensity of aroma between the initial and final stages in use.SOLUTION: An aromatic liquid contains a flavor and a solvent, and has a residual ratio (R) 144 hours later in a specific testing condition specified in the present specification of 50% or less, and a value obtained by subtracting a weight loss speed (V2) of 120-144 hours from a weight loss speed (V1) of 0-24 hour(s), and satisfying 1.000 g/day or less. When the aromatic liquid is impregnated in a liquid absorbing member, and is volatilized by a vaporizer not performing the supply of the aromatic liquid to the liquid absorbing member during use, an average volatilization speed during a use period becomes high, and a difference in the intensity of aroma between the initial and final stages in use is hardly generated.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】本発明の目的は、液部材に含浸させて揮散され、使用中は吸液部材に芳香液の供給が行われない揮散器で使用される芳香液であって、使用期間中の平均揮散速度が高く、使用前期と使用後期で香りの強さに差が生じ難い芳香液を提供することである。【解決手段】香料及び溶剤を含み、本明細書で規定する特定の試験条件において、１４４時間後残存率（Ｒ）が５０％以下であり、且つ０〜２４時間の減量速度（Ｖ1）から１２０〜１４４時間の減量速度（Ｖ2）を差し引いた値が１．０００ｇ／ｄａｙ以下を満たす芳香液は、吸液部材に含浸させ、使用中は吸液部材に芳香液の供給が行われない揮散器で揮散させると、使用期間中の平均揮散速度が高く、しかも使用前期と使用後期で香りの強さに差が生じ難くなる。【選択図】なし
