To provide a correction amount setting device that can achieve more suitable temperature compensation processing.SOLUTION: A correction amount setting device 20 which is mounted on a vehicle and sets a correction amount relating to sensitivity to a reflected wave or a threshold for determining presence or absence of an obstacle, for sound-wave sensors 10A, B through H which detect the obstacle by receiving and transmitting sound waves, comprises: a correction amount calculating part 20b that obtains temperature information from a temperature sensor 15 that detects an outdoor air temperature around the vehicle and determines a correction amount on the basis of the detected temperature; and a correction amount setting part 20c that sets the correction amount for the sound-wave sensor.
