Zusammenfassung:To make it possible to update a control program at an early stage while avoiding a failure to update the control program due to power shortage of a first battery BAT1.SOLUTION: An update control device 11 acquires a residual capacity X of power of a first battery BAT1 that supplies power to an electronic control device 12 that updates a control program (step S24), acquires an amount of power Y necessary for the electronic control device 12 to update the control program (step S25), and when the residual capacity X is less than the amount of power Y (YES in step S26), charges the first battery BAT1 so that the residual capacity X becomes equal to or more than the amount of power Y (steps S32-S34), and then causes the electronic control device 12 to update the control program (step S36).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 【課題】第1バッテリBAT1の電力不足による制御プログラムの更新失敗を回避しながら、制御プログラムの更新を早期に行うことを可能にする。【解決手段】更新制御装置11は、制御プログラムを更新する電子制御装置12に電力を供給する第1バッテリBAT1の電力の残容量Xを取得し(ステップS24)、電子制御装置12が制御プログラムを更新するために必要となる電力量Yを取得し(ステップS25)、残容量Xが電力量Yよりも少ない場合(ステップS26のYES)、残容量Xが電力量Y以上となるように第1バッテリBAT1を充電し(ステップS32〜S34)、その後、電子制御装置12に制御プログラムを更新させる(ステップS36)。【選択図】図8
