Zusammenfassung:To provide a depression detection device and a depression detection method, wherein processing is able to be performed according to requests in each state, in both of a first state before a confirmed value based on pressing force becomes equal to or more than a first threshold and a second state before the confirmed value becomes equal to or less than a second threshold after being equal to or more than the first threshold.SOLUTION: A determination section 15 of a depression detection device 1 prevents, during a first state before detecting a first event, a confirmed value from steeply increasing when pressing force steeply increases, and steeply decreases the confirmed value when the pressing force steeply decreases. Whereas, during a second state before detecting a second event after detecting the first event, the determination section prevents the confirmed value from steeply increasing when the pressing force steeply increases, and prevents the confirmed value from steeply decreasing when the pressing force steeply decreases. Accordingly, even if vibration occurs, it is possible to prevent the confirmed value from steeply increasing during the first state, and prevent the confirmed value from steeply increasing and steeply decreasing during the second state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】押下力に基づく確定値が第1閾値以上となる前の第1状態と、第1閾値以上となった後、第2閾値以下となる前の第2状態との双方で、各状態の要求に応じた処理を行えるようにした「押下検出装置および押下検出方法」を提供する。【解決手段】押下検出装置1の判定部15は、第1事象を検出する前の第1状態のときは、押下力が急峻に上昇したときに確定値が急峻に上昇することを抑制すると共に、押下力が急峻に下降したときに確定値を急峻に下降させる一方、第1事象を検出した後、第2事象を検出する前の第2状態のときは、押下力が急峻に上昇したときに確定値が急峻に上昇することを抑制すると共に、押下力が急峻に下降したときに確定値が急峻に下降することを抑制する。これにより、振動が発生した場合でも第1状態のときは確定値が急峻に上がりにくくなるようにし、第2状態のときは確定値が急峻に上がりにくくかつ下がりにくくなるようにしている。【選択図】図4
