To provide a liquid discharge device configured so that an outer surface of a liquid storage body is suppressed from being soiled widely.SOLUTION: A liquid discharge device comprises a liquid discharge head that discharges liquid and an attachment part 15 which a liquid storage body 80 that stores liquid to be supplied to the liquid discharge head is detachably attached to. The attachment part 15 has a liquid introduction part 30 that is connected to a liquid extraction port 93a provided in the liquid storage body 80, and an energization mechanism 40 that energizes the liquid storage body 80 in the opposite direction of an attaching direction in which the liquid storage body 80 is attached to the attachment part 15.
