To perform an operation and work to set an electric thumb turn freely to the left or right in an easy and accurate way.SOLUTION: An electric lock device is configured to include: a drive gear 32 that rotates when a rotational driving force is transmitted from a drive source that is activated by an electric current; a thumb turn that is provided to rotate with the rotation of the drive gear 32 between a reference position and a left or right position when rotated from the reference position to the left or right; and a detection section that has a sensor 43 for detecting that the thumb turn is in the reference position, left and right sensors 44L, 44R for detecting that the thumb turn is in the left and right positions, and origin sensors 45La, 45Lb, 45Ra, 45Rb for detecting the rotational position of the drive gear 32 so that when the thumb turn is in the reference position, the left or right position, the drive gear 32 returns to the respective positions.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8A 【課題】電動サムターンの左右勝手の設定の操作や作業を容易且つ精度良く行う。【解決手段】本発明の電気錠装置は、通電により作動する駆動源から回転駆動力が伝達されることで回転する駆動用ギア３２と、基準位置と該基準位置から左右に回転した左右の位置との間において駆動用ギア３２の回転に伴って回転可能なように設けられるサムターンと、サムターンが前記基準位置にあることを検出するセンサ４３と、サムターンが左右の位置にあることを検出する左右のセンサ４４Ｌ，４４Ｒと、サムターンが前記基準位置及び前記左右の位置にある時に駆動用ギア３２がそれぞれの所定位置に戻るように駆動用ギア３２の回転位置を検出する原点センサ４５Ｌａ，４５Ｌｂ，４５Ｒａ，４５Ｒｂと、を有する検出部と、を備えていることを特徴とする。【選択図】図８Ａ
