Zusammenfassung:To achieve a redundant configuration having performance continuity in a case of a failure at a lower cost and to safely execute a switchover of power sources.SOLUTION: A vehicle control system comprises: a first electric motor which drives a vehicle; a second electric motor which generates power using output of a power source and starts up the power source; a power storage device which stores the power generated by the second electric motor and supplies the power to a first electric motor; a monitoring device which monitors a failure state of the vehicle; and a drive force switching device which switches a source of the drive force to drive the vehicle from the first electric motor to the second electric motor. The monitoring device detects a failure of the first electric motor, and in the case of a predetermined operation state in which the drive force is obtained from the second electric motor, controls the switching device so as to switch the source of the drive force to drive the vehicle from the first electric motor to the second electric motor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】故障時の動作継続性を有する冗長化構成をより低コストで実現し、動力源の切り替えを安全に実行する。【解決手段】車両を走行させる第1電動機と、動力源の出力を用いて発電し、前記動力源を始動させる第2電動機と、前記第2電動機により発電した電力を蓄えて前記第1電動機に電力を供給する蓄電装置と、前記車両の故障状態を監視する監視装置と、前記車両を走行させる駆動力を前記第1電動機から前記第2電動機に切り替える駆動力切り替え装置と、を有し、前記監視装置は、前記第1電動機の故障を検出し、且つ、前記第2電動機から駆動力が得られる所定の運転状態の場合には、前記切り替え装置を制御して、前記車両を走行させるための駆動力を前記第1電動機から前記第2電動機に切り替える。【選択図】図3
