VEHICLE CONTROL SYSTEM

To achieve a redundant configuration having performance continuity in a case of a failure at a lower cost and to safely execute a switchover of power sources.SOLUTION: A vehicle control system comprises: a first electric motor which drives a vehicle; a second electric motor which generates power using output of a power source and starts up the power source; a power storage device which stores the power generated by the second electric motor and supplies the power to a first electric motor; a monitoring device which monitors a failure state of the vehicle; and a drive force switching device which switches a source of the drive force to drive the vehicle from the first electric motor to the second electric motor.
