Zusammenfassung: | To provide a vehicle body structure which is for a vehicle that has a large side door opening and which suppresses the bending and deformation of a hinge pillar at the attachment portion of an apron reinforcement when a collision such that the apron reinforcement is moved backwardly occurs.SOLUTION: A reinforcement member 60 is provided in the closed cross-section of a hinge pillar 30 at a location that overlaps an attachment portion 23b of an apron reinforcement 20 in the vertical direction. The reinforcement member 60 includes: a main body 61 that extends in the vertical direction of a vehicle so as to be apart from the hinge pillar 30; a front flange portion 62 located at the front part of the main body 61; a side flange portion 63 located at the rear part of the main body 61; a front ridge line portion X1 located between the main body 61 and the front flange portion 62; and a rear ridge line portion X2 located between the main body 61 and the side flange portion 63. The front ridge line portion X1 and the rear ridge line portion X2 are respectively provided continuously across the vertical direction of the vehicle on the reinforcement member 60.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
