To provide a technique for measuring characteristics of each power generation element with the use of a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A battery comprises: a first power generation element in which positive electrode plates and negative electrode plates are laminated; a second power generation element, disposed adjacent to the first power generation element, in which positive electrode plates and negative electrode plates are laminated; a connection tab which is disposed between the first power generation element and the second power generation element so as to be electrically connected to the first power generation element and the second power generation element; a measurement tab which is disposed between the first power generation element and the second power generation element so as to be electrically connected to the connection tab; and a sealing film which seals the first power generation element, the second power generation element, the connection tab, and the measurement tab. Inside the sealing film, one end of the measurement tab is connected to the connection tab.
