COMPOSITE WIRE

To provide a composite wire that comprises a plurality of wires formed by materials with shear strengths different to each other and suppresses a break thereof.SOLUTION: A composite wire includes a core wire 20, of which the cross-sectional profile line has a shape other than a perfect circle, and which is twisted so that a first spiral surface is formed around a longitudinal direction of the core wire 20, and a first spiral side wire 30 which is formed by a material with a shear strength lesser than the shear strength of the material by which the core wire 20 is formed and arranged on the first surface. The core wire 20 includes a second surface opposite to the first surface with respect to a direction substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal direction and is around the longitudinal direction, the second surface having a shape spirally extended around the longitudinal direction.
