Zusammenfassung:	To provide a membrane support having resistance to moist heat.SOLUTION: The membrane support according to the present invention prevents deterioration of strength and thermal contraction of the membrane support and has resistance to moist heat since fibers contained in the membrane support contain a polymethyl pentene resin or a polyphenylene sulfide resin having resistance to moist heat. The fibers containing the polymethyl pentene resin or the polyphenylene sulfide resin having the resistance to moist heat are preferably core-sheath type composite fibers.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】耐湿熱性を有する膜支持体を提供すること。【解決手段】本発明に係る膜支持体は、膜支持体に含まれる繊維に耐湿熱性を有するポリメチルペンテン樹脂又はポリフェニレンサルファイド樹脂を含むことから、膜支持体の強度低下や熱収縮が起こりにくく、耐湿熱性を有する膜支持体を提供できる。また、耐湿熱性を有するポリメチルペンテン樹脂又はポリフェニレンサルファイド樹脂を含む繊維が芯鞘型複合繊維であるのが好ましい。【選択図】なし
