ABSORBENT ARTICLE

To provide an absorbent article which suppresses leakage from a back of the absorbent article.SOLUTION: An absorbent article includes a body and has a front-back direction and a right-and-left direction which are perpendicular to each other. The body includes an absorber between a surface sheet and a back surface sheet. The body includes an intermediate region facing an excretion part, a front region positioned in a front side of the intermediate region, and a back region positioned in a back side of the intermediate region. The body has a back compressed groove which extends in the right-and left direction over a longitudinal central line bisecting the right-and-left direction of the body in the back region and is formed by compression processing on a part from the surface sheet to the absorber. The back compressed groove has one end part and the other end part. The one end part and the other end part are respectively positioned on one/the other of both sides of the longitudinal central line with the longitudinal central line therebetween.
