Zusammenfassung:	To provide a metering pump drive device that can monitor variation in viscosity or contamination of foreign matters in a fluid fed by a metering pump, and to provide a coating device using the same.SOLUTION: A metering pump drive device includes: a metering pump 52 for feeding a fluid by a constant amount per unit time; a pump motor 54 for rotating the metering pump 52, and a speed reducer 56; and a monitoring torque meter 58 for detecting a monitoring torque value of an input shaft 68 by coupling a drive shaft 60 of the speed reducer 56 to the input shaft 68 of the metering pump 52, and outputting the detected monitoring torque value in time series.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】定量ポンプで送られる流体に粘度が変化したり異物が混じったりしたのを監視できる定量ポンプ駆動装置とそれを用いた塗工装置を提供する。【解決手段】単位時間当たり一定量の流体を供給する定量ポンプ５２と、定量ポンプ５２を回転させるポンプモータ５４と減速装置５６と、減速装置５６の駆動軸６０と定量ポンプ５２の入力軸６８を連結して、入力軸６８の監視用トルク値を検出し、検出した監視用トルク値を時系列に出力する監視用トルク計５８とを有する。【選択図】図２
