Zusammenfassung: | To provide an aqueous solution in which zinc is dissolved at a high concentration, in which while zinc is dissolved at such a high concentration, the amount of a dissolved alkali metal and alkaline earth metal for dissolving zinc is reduced.SOLUTION: A method for producing a high concentration zinc aqueous solution comprises the steps of: (1) mixing water, a hydroxide of an alkali metal and/or an alkaline earth metal equivalent to 13.0 to 15.6 M, and a zinc compound equivalent to 3.0 to 3.9 M; (2) heating the mixture obtained in the step (1) to 120°C or higher; and (3) cooling the same, adding water thereto, and then adjusting the amount of zinc to be 1.13 to 2.36 M and the amount of the alkali metal and/or the alkaline earth metal to be 4.21 to 8.66 M in total.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
