To cause a stable inertial locking action to be performed on an electric connector to properly prevent semi-fitting of a terminal.SOLUTION: An inertial lock connector having an auxiliary part 80 in addition to a male-side connector 10 and a female-side connector 50 includes a gap portion 64 extending in an insertion direction between a female-side housing 52 and a locking piece 62. The auxiliary part 80 has a protruding piece 94 that extends from a main portion 82 and can be inserted into the gap portion 64. In a state where the locking piece 62 has restored its shape, the protruding piece 94 can be inserted up to a first insertion position without interfering with the locking piece 62.
