Zusammenfassung: | To provide a distance measuring device and a distance measuring method with which it is possible to reduce the influence of an error included in a transmit signal.SOLUTION: A distance measuring device 100 pertaining to the present invention comprises: a frequency modulation unit 110 for frequency-modulating a carrier wave using a modulating signal and generating a transmit signal; a radar wave transmit-receive unit 120 for transmitting the transmit signal as a radar wave, and receiving a reflected wave of the radar wave having been reflected by a target, as a receive signal; a transmit-receive signal mixing unit 130 for mixing the transmit and receive signals and thereby generating an intermediate signal; a phase difference calculation unit 140 for calculating a phase difference between the (+n)th side wave of the intermediate signal and the (-n)th side wave of the intermediate signal; a reference phase calculation unit 150 for calculating the phase of a reference signal derived by (2n) multiplication of the modulating signal, as a reference phase; and a distance calculation unit 160 for calculating the distance to the target on the basis of a difference between the phase difference and the reference phase.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
