Zusammenfassung:To provide a hot rolled steel sheet cooling device which can be used between conveyance rolls on an undersurface of a hot rolled steel sheet after finish rolling in a hot rolling process, has a compact and simple structure, and can perform uniform cooling in a steel sheet width direction, and a cooling method.SOLUTION: A cooling device, which cools an undersurface of a hot rolled steel sheet 2 conveyed on a run-out table, comprises: at least one cooling water nozzle 21 which is provided between adjacent conveyance rolls 18, and injects cooling water to the undersurface of the hot rolled steel sheet 2; and a cooling water stream control mechanism 30 which controls stream of cooling water injected from the cooling water nozzle 21. The cooling water stream control mechanism 30 has a rotor 31 which extends in a width direction of the run-out table, and is rotatably provided with a rolling width direction as an axis; an opening 31a and a blocking part 31b which are provided on a peripheral surface of the rotor 31. The cooling water stream control mechanism 30 controls collision and non-collision of cooling water with the hot rolled steel sheet 2 by the cooling water nozzle 21 by rotational drive of the rotor 31.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】熱間圧延工程の仕上圧延後の熱延鋼板下面の搬送ロール間で使用可能であり、コンパクトで単純な構造を有し、鋼板幅方向で均一な冷却を行うことが可能な熱延鋼板の冷却装置および冷却方法を提供する。【解決手段】ランアウトテーブル上を搬送される熱延鋼板2の下面を冷却する冷却装置であり、隣接する搬送ロール18間に設けられ、熱延鋼板2の下面に冷却水を噴射する少なくとも1つの冷却水ノズル21と、冷却水ノズル21から噴射された冷却水の水流を制御する冷却水流制御機構30とを備える。冷却水流制御機構30は、ランアウトテーブルの幅方向に延在し、圧延幅方向を軸として回転可能に設けられた回転体31と、回転体31の周面に設けられた開口部31aおよび閉塞部31bとを有する。冷却水流制御機構30は、回転体31の回転駆動により、冷却水ノズル21による熱延鋼板2への冷却水の衝突および非衝突を制御する。【選択図】図2
