To provide a compact container that can solve user-unfriendliness due to depending on difference in dominant hand and be opened by one-hand.SOLUTION: A compact container 9 includes: a case part 1; an external lid 5 of which rear end is pivotally connected to the case part 1; a cosmetic storing tray 7 filled with cosmetics; an inner lid 6 of which lower surface covers the cosmetic storing tray 7 from above and of which upper surface is placed with an applicator; and right and left operation parts 31B provided at an outside surface of the case part 1. Operating the right and left operation parts 31B opens the external lid 5 backward relative to the case part 1.
