Further, a lithium ion battery includes a positive electrode, the lithium ion battery separator, and a negative electrode, and one side of the lithium ion battery separator with a coating layer having a porosity of 60% or more and 95% or less in a region of 2 μm deep from the outermost surface faces the positive electrode.SELECTED DRAWING: None
