Zusammenfassung: | To provide an active material for an electrode containing lithium titanate as a main component which has a high diffusion rate of lithium ions, and a lithium ion secondary battery using the same.SOLUTION: An active material for an electrode is formed of lithium titanate having a spinel structure as a main component, and contains zinc in an amount of 0.8 g/kg or more and 5.0 g/kg or less in terms of zinc oxide. In powder X-ray diffraction measurement, when the diffraction line intensity of a (111) plane of the lithium titanate is set to 100, the diffraction line intensity of a (110) plane of rutile type titanium dioxide is 2.0 or less, and the diffraction line intensity of a (-133) plane of rock salt type dilithium titanate is 4.0 or less. Preferably, the diffraction line intensity of a (220) plane of lithium titanate is more than 1.0 and 2.0 or less, and the specific surface area is 3 m2/g or more and 15 m2/g or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】リチウムイオンの拡散速度が大きいチタン酸リチウムを主成分とする電極用活物質及びそれを用いたリチウムイオン二次電池を提供する。【解決手段】スピネル構造のチタン酸リチウムを主成分とし、亜鉛を、酸化亜鉛に換算して0.8g/kg以上5.0g/kg以下の量で含み、粉末X線回折測定において、当該チタン酸リチウムの(111)面の回折線強度を100とした場合に、ルチル型二酸化チタンの(110)面の回折線強度が2.0以下、岩塩型チタン酸二リチウムの(−133)面の回折線強度が4.0以下である電極用活物質。好ましくは、同チタン酸リチウムの(220)面の回折線強度が1.0を超えて2.0以下であり、比表面積が3m2/g以上15m2/g以下である。【選択図】なし |
