Zusammenfassung:To provide a ranging sensor capable of detecting it when a measurement target is a specular object.SOLUTION: A ranging sensor is provided, comprising a signal processing unit configured to compute a distance to an object and confidence level from a signal acquired by a light reception unit configured to receive reflection of irradiation light irradiated from a given light-emission source reflected back by the object, and output a determination flag indicating whether the object under measurement is a specular object with high reflectance or not.
