LIGHTING APPARATUS FOR ESCALATOR

To obtain a lighting apparatus for an escalator that is able to adjust the luminosity of an escalator in correspondence with the respective luminous intensities of a handrail lower portion and a handrail upper portion.SOLUTION: A lighting apparatus for an escalator comprises: a lighting apparatus body 41 having a lower lighting unit 411 provided in a handrail lower portion 21 and an upper lighting unit 412 provided in a handrail upper portion 22; a luminous intensity measurement device 42 having a lower luminous intensity measurement unit 421 that measures a luminous intensity of the handrail lower portion 21 and an upper luminous intensity measurement unit 422 that measures a luminous intensity of the handrail upper portion 22; and a lighting control device 43 that separately adjusts respective luminous intensities of the lower lighting unit 411 and the upper lighting unit 412 by using respective results of the measurements by the luminous intensity measurement device 42.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】欄干下部および欄干上部のそれぞれの照度に対応して、エスカレーターの照明装置の明るさを調整することができるエスカレーターの照明装置を得る。【解決手段】欄干下部２１に設けられた下部照明部４１１および欄干上部２２に設けられた上部照明部４１２を有する照明装置本体４１と、欄干下部２１の照度を測定する下部照度測定部４２１および欄干上部２２の照度を測定する上部照度測定部４２２を有する照度測定装置４２と、照度測定装置４２の測定結果を用いて、下部照明部４１１および上部照明部４１２のそれぞれの明るさを別々に調整する照明制御装置４３とを備えている。【選択図】図２
