To suppress the drive sound from being heard by an occupant.SOLUTION: A head-up display device comprises: a display unit 22 which displays an image; a first actuator 23 which moves and/or rotates the display unit 22; a relay optical system which projects the light of an image displayed by the display unit 22 to an external projection object member and forms a virtual image of the image; and a second actuator 25 which moves and/or rotates the relay optical system. When it is assumed that an occupant rides on the own vehicle, only one of the first actuator 23 and second actuator 25 is driven.
