To provide a power tool enhancing workability while maintaining sealability.SOLUTION: A power tool includes: a metallic motor housing 30 which stores a brushless DC motor of a three-phase delta connection; and a rear housing 3 which has a gripping section. The rear housing 3 has a switch 92, an inverter circuit, and a control section. The motor housing 30 forms a cylindrical section 31 having an opening opened at both ends. An opening 31a on an upper side is sealed by a top cover. A thin notch section 33b is formed to extend in an axial direction from the opening 31a on a side face of the cylindrical section 31. Lead-out wires 26b and 26e from a coil 25 are extended to the inside of the rear housing 3 through the notch 33b and are wire-connected and connected in the rear housing 3. After the lead-out wires 26b and 26e are arranged in the notch section 33b, an opening side of the notch section 33b is closed by the top cover and a gap is sealed with resin.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 20 【課題】密閉性を維持しつつ作業性を高めた動力工具を提供する。【解決手段】三相デルタ結線のブラシレスＤＣモータを収容する金属製のモータハウジング３０と、把持部を有するリアハウジング３を有し、リアハウジング３にスイッチ９２と、インバータ回路と、制御部を設けた動力工具において、モータハウジング３０は、両端が開口した開口部を有する筒状部３１を成し、上側の開口部３１ａはトップカバーによって密閉される。筒状部３１の側面には開口部３１ａから軸方向に延びる細い切欠部３３ｂを形成し、コイル２５からの引出線２６ｂ、２６ｅを切欠部３３ｂを通してリアハウジング３内に伸ばして、リヤハウジング３内で結線及び接続する。切欠部３３ｂに引出線２６ｂ、２６ｅが配置された後には、トップカバーにて切欠部３３ｂの開口側を閉鎖し、隙間を樹脂にて密閉するようにした。【選択図】図２０
