To provide a coating device, a control method and a computer program capable of quickly uniformizing a thickness of coating liquid coated in accordance with characteristics of coating liquid.SOLUTION: A coating device includes changeover valves which selectively change over a feeding destination of coating liquid from a liquid feed source between a delivery path to a coating die and a return path to the liquid feed source, a detector which detects a thickness of coating liquid applied onto a coating surface and a control part which controls changeover of the changeover valves.
