Zusammenfassung: | To achieve improved conductivity and weight saving in a conductive wire using carbon nanotubes.SOLUTION: A coated wire material 10 includes a core wire 12 being electric conductive, and a coating part 13 including a plurality of carbon nanotube fibers aligned in a longer direction of the core wire and covering an outer peripheral surface of the core wire. The coating part is included in a conductive wire 14 containing a metal formed by applying metal plating to the core wire obtained by coating the outer peripheral surface with the coating part, and thereby achieving further weight saving in comparison with a copper electric wire made of a metal such as a copper wire. Furthermore, improved electric conductivity can be achieved through forming a metal at the coating part containing carbon nanotube fibers poorer in electric conductivity than a copper wire.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
