Zusammenfassung:To enable detecting abnormality on both of discoloration and unevenness of a surface of an object.SOLUTION: A surface inspection device includes: a conveying belt 22 for conveying an object 10; a light source 24 which is positioned above the conveying belt 22 and irradiates a surface of the object 10 with light; a camera 26 for imaging the surface of the object 10; and a central processing unit for performing processing of imaging information imaged by the camera 26 and various controls. The surface inspection device can obtain the imaging information by imaging the surface of the object 10 with the camera 26 in a state where the light source 24 irradiates the object 10 with the light. The surface inspection device extracts first imaging information corresponding to a first area 12 of the object 10 and second imaging information corresponding to a second area 14 which is an area different from the first area 12 and is farther from the light source 24 than the first area 12 from the imaging information, and detects discoloration of the surface of the object 10 on the basis of the first imaging information and unevenness of the surface of the object 10 on the basis of the second imaging information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】対象物の表面の変色と凹凸の両方の異常を検出することが可能となる。【解決手段】対象物10を搬送する搬送ベルト22と、搬送ベルト22の上方に位置し、対象物10の表面に光を照射する光源24と、対象物10の表面を撮像するカメラ26と、カメラ26で撮像された撮像情報の処理や各種制御を行う中央演算ユニットと、を備えており、対象物10に光源24から光が照射された状態で、カメラ26が対象物10の表面を撮像することにより、撮像情報を得ることができる。この撮像情報から対象物10の第一領域12に相当する第一撮像情報と、第一領域12とは異なる領域であって、第一領域12よりも光源24から離れた位置である第二領域14に相当する第二撮像情報と、が抽出され、第一撮像情報に基づいて対象物10の表面の変色を、第二撮像情報に基づいて対象物10の表面の凹凸を、それぞれ検出する。【選択図】図1
