To provide a construction machine where a filter member may be detachable upward from a hydraulic tank in a state a grip of a hand rail is placed at a position right above the filter member which is an ideal position relative to a passage.SOLUTION: A hydraulic oil tank 17 is placed on a most right side of a super structure body 5 to allow an oil filter 26 to be pulled upward from an inspection hole 17a in its upper surface. A passage 15 for workers is extendingly arranged in a longitudinal direction on an inner side of a machine body of the hydraulic tank 17, and front and rear hand rails 19, 20 are arranged along the passage 15. A main grip part 20a1 of the rear hand rail 20 is arranged right above the oil filter 26 in a vehicle direction and is placed a slightly higher position than that of an upper end of the oil filter 26 pulled out of the inspection hole 17a. Further, a main fence part 20d1 of the rear hand rail 20 is placed a lower position than that of the upper end of the oil filter 26 and is placed at a right side offset from the right above position of the oil filter 26.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】通路に対して最適な位置関係となるフィルタ部材の直上にハンドレールのグリップを配置した上で、作動油タンクからフィルタ部材を上方に脱着可能とした建設機械を提供する。【解決手段】上部旋回体５の最右側に作動油タンク１７を配置し、その上面の点検孔１７ａからオイルフィルタ２６を上方に引き抜き可能とする。作動油タンク１７の機体内側に作業者用の通路１５を前後に延設し、通路１５に沿って前部及び後部ハンドレール１９，２０を設ける。後部ハンドレール２０の主グリップ部２０ａ1を、車幅方向でオイルフィルタ２６の直上に配置すると共に、点検孔１７ａから引き抜かれたオイルフィルタ２６の上端よりも若干高い位置に配置する。また後部ハンドレール２０の主フェンス部２０ｄ1をオイルフィルタ２６の上端よりも低い位置に配置すると共に、オイルフィルタ２６の直上から右側にオフセット配置する。【選択図】図３
