Zusammenfassung:	To provide a method for producing a naphthalene type epoxy compound capable of efficiently producing an epoxy compound which can impart excellent heat resistance to an epoxy resin without contamination of an organic chlorine compound.SOLUTION: A method for producing a naphthalene type epoxy compound includes an epoxydation step of reacting a raw material compound having a naphthalene ring, and an aryl group and an aryloxy group bonded directly to the naphthalene ring in a reaction liquid to which a tungsten compound, a nitrogen-containing compound, a phosphorus compound and peroxide are added, and epoxidizing a part or all of the aryl group and the aryloxy group.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】エポキシ樹脂に優れた耐熱性を付与できるエポキシ化合物を、有機塩素化合物の混入なしに効率良く製造することができる、ナフタレン型エポキシ化合物の製造方法を提供すること。【解決手段】ナフタレン環と前記ナフタレン環に直接結合するアリル基及びアリルオキシ基とを有する原料化合物を、タングステン化合物、含窒素化合物、リン化合物及び過酸化水素が添加された反応液中で反応させ、前記アリル基及び前記アリルオキシ基の一部又は全部をエポキシ化するエポキシ化工程を含む、ナフタレン型エポキシ化合物の製造方法。【選択図】なし
