To provide a control unit and an illumination system, capable of providing detailed alert information for each point.SOLUTION: A control unit includes an acquisition section, a determination section and an output section. The acquisition section acquires a plurality pieces of sensor information from environment sensors provided to a plurality of second street lights, respectively, the second street lights being associated with a first street light provided with an alarm lamp. The determination section determines the degree of abnormality based on the plurality pieces of sensor information.
