To provide an information processor and an information processing method that are capable of promoting use of an electronic currency by depreciating the electronic currency, and capable of, e.g., performing economic adjustment by appreciating the electronic currency.SOLUTION: An information processor has a management unit 100 to covert value information input from an input unit 10 into coin information regarding a virtual coin and to manage it.
