Zusammenfassung:To provide a polyhydroxyurethane resin which has an excellent gas barrier property as compared with a conventional polyurethane resin using isocyanate and which can be dissolved in an organic solvent similar to the conventional polyurethane resin.SOLUTION: There is provided a polyhydroxyurethane resin having a chemical structure represented by general formula (1) in which a part of a hydroxy group is silylated. The resin has a solubility in methyl ethyl ketone and/or in a mixed organic solvent containing 70 mass% or more of ethyl acetate of 30 mass% or more as a resin component, and has a hydroxy group having a hydroxy value of 100 mgKOH/g or more.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】イソシアネートを使用した従来のポリウレタン樹脂に比較して優れたガスバリア性を有していながら、従来のポリウレタン樹脂と同様の有機溶剤に溶解可能なポリヒドロキシウレタン樹脂の提供。【解決手段】一般式(1)で示される、水酸基の一部がシリル化された化学構造を有し、該樹脂は、メチルエチルケトン中に及び/または酢酸エチルが70質量%以上を占める混合有機溶剤中に、樹脂分として30質量%以上の濃度で溶解する溶解性を示し、且つ、水酸基価が100mgKOH/g以上となる水酸基を有するポリヒドロキシウレタン樹脂。【選択図】なし
