SUGAR CANE HARVESTER

To suppress abrasion of a cutting device for cutting root portions of crops so as to prevent a large load from being applied to driving of the cutting device in a sugar cane harvester.SOLUTION: A sugar cane harvester includes: a harvesting part disposed in a front lower part of a machine body in a state of having a cutting device 13 for cutting root portions of crops in a field; a conveying device of a rear upward inclined posture, conveying crops harvested by the harvesting part to a machine rear upper side; a load sensor 79 for detecting a load applied to a driving device 20 for driving the cutting device 13; and a lifting device 58 capable of changing the heights of the harvesting part and the conveying device to a travel device. The lifting device 58 performs lifting operation for the harvesting part and the conveying device when a detection value of the load sensor 79 becomes higher than a riser side set value set in advance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13 【課題】サトウキビ収穫機において、作物の株元を切断する切断装置の摩耗が抑えられ、切断装置の駆動に大きな負荷が掛からないようにする。【解決手段】圃場の作物の株元を切断する切断装置１３を有する状態で機体の前下部に設けられた収穫部と、収穫部により収穫された作物を機体後上方に向けて搬送する後上がり傾斜姿勢の搬送装置とが備えられる。切断装置１３を駆動する駆動装置２０に掛かる負荷を検出する負荷センサー７９と、走行装置に対する収穫部及び搬送装置の高さを変更可能な昇降装置５８とが備えられる。昇降装置５８は、負荷センサー７９の検出値が事前に設定された上昇側設定値よりも高くなると、収穫部及び搬送装置を上昇操作する。【選択図】図１３
