To provide a joining structure for frame materials of a simple configuration that enhances appearance quality.SOLUTION: A frame material joining structure is a joining structure between a vertical frame material 51A and a horizontal frame material 31A, and includes: a vertical frame surface part 54 provided at least on either an indoor side or an outdoor side of the vertical frame material 51A along a width-direction surface; a horizontal frame surface part 34 provided on the horizontal frame material 31A and flush with the vertical frame surface part 54; and a pair of holding parts 53, 56 provided either on the vertical frame material 51A or the horizontal frame material 31A, for holding an end of the other of the vertical frame material 51A or the horizontal frame material 31A in a depth direction on an inner side in the depth direction than the flush plane.
