Zusammenfassung:To achieve reduction in height while securing a sufficient floating amount in a receptacle terminal.SOLUTION: A receptacle terminal 3 includes a pair of fixing plate parts 31 extending in a first direction Y1 in a view in an insertion/extraction direction X and disposed oppositely in a second direction Y2. The fixing plate part 31 includes a press-fitting portion 31a and a non-press-fitting portion 31b. A board connecting part 32 extends from the non-press-fitting portion 31b. A cross-linking plate part 33 extending in the second direction Y2 connects the non-press-fitting portions 31b of the pair of fixing plate parts 31 in a groove shape. The cross-linking plate part 33 includes a central area CA and a pair of end areas EA in the second direction Y2. An elastic plate part 34 extends in the insertion/extraction direction X from the central area CA of the cross-linking plate part 33 in a cantilevered state. A holding part 70 which is in surface-contact with both surfaces of a plug terminal is connected with an extending end 34b of the elastic plate part 34 via a U-shaped part 35.
