Zusammenfassung: | To provide a method for producing an electrostatic charge image developing toner, allowing for acquisition of an electrostatic charge image developing toner which maintains excellent storage stability and furthermore shows excellent pigment dispersibility.SOLUTION: A method for producing an electrostatic charge image developing toner is provided that includes the following steps 1 and 2, the step 1 of condensing an amorphous polyester based resin (A) and an amine compound to obtain a resin composition (AP), and the step 2 of melting and kneading a toner raw material including the resin composition (AP) obtained in the step 1 and a colorant. The amorphous polyester based resin (A) is an amorphous polyester based resin (A1) being a polycondensate of an alcohol component (A1-al) including the alkylene oxide adduct of bisphenol A and a carboxylic component (A1-ac) including an aromatic dicarboxylic acid compound and a monocarboxylic acid compound or an amorphous polyester based resin (A2) being a polycondensate of an alcohol component (A2-al) including the alkylene oxide adduct of bisphenol A, a carboxylic component (A2-ac) including an aromatic dicarboxylic acid compound and hydrocarbon wax having at least one functional group selected from a hydroxyl group and a carboxyl group.SELECTED DRAWING: None
