Zusammenfassung: | To provide a cold insulation material removal method and a cold insulation material removal system that can remove the powdered cold insulation material filled in the cold insulation space of a low-temperature tank more reliably.SOLUTION: A cold insulation material removal method includes a process of suctioning an upper cold insulation material in which a suction hose 10 is inserted into the upper opening OU opened in the outer tank side plate 122 to suction and remove powdered perlite 131 in a side cold insulation space SS, a process of measuring the deposition state of an upper cold insulation material in which the deposition state of the powdered perlite 131 is measured through the upper opening OU, a process of forming a lower opening OL1 in the outer tank side plate 122 according to the accumulation state measured by the process of measuring the accumulation state of the upper coolant, and a process of suctioning the lower coolant by inserting the suction hose 10 into the lower opening OL1 and suctioning off the powdered perlite 131.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
