WORK PIECE CONVEYANCE SYSTEM

To provide a work piece conveying system capable of shortening a cycle time including conveyance at the respective stages by relating conveyance of work pieces with positioning of the work pieces.SOLUTION: The work piece conveying system includes a conveying body, a conveying body driving device for reciprocating the conveying body between a first work stage and a second work stage, a plurality of positioning devices each having positioning members and displacing devices for changing positions of the positioning members to position work pieces at the first work stage and the second work stage, and a control device for controlling the conveying body driving device and the plurality of positioning devices so that the positioning members are displaced to predetermined stand-by positions while the conveying body loaded with the work pieces moves from the first work stage to the second work stage, and the positioning members are displaced from the stand-by positions to support positions above them after the conveying body reaches the second work stage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 【課題】ワークの搬送とワークの位置決めとの連係を図ることにより、各作業ステージでの搬送を含むサイクルタイムを短縮する。【解決手段】ワーク搬送システムは、搬送体と、搬送体を第１作業ステージと第２作業ステージとの間を往復移動させる搬送体駆動装置と、各々が位置決め部材及び位置決め部材の位置を変化させる変位装置を有し、第１作業ステージ及び第２作業ステージにおいてワークを位置決めする複数の位置決め装置と、ワークが載置された搬送体が第１作業ステージから第２作業ステージへ移動する間に位置決め部材が所定の待機位置へ変位し、搬送体が第２作業ステージへ到達してから位置決め部材が待機位置からその上方の支持位置へ変位するように、搬送体駆動装置及び複数の位置決め装置を制御する制御装置とを備える。【選択図】図５
