Zusammenfassung:To allow an object to be sewn to follow a member holding the object to be sewn on the downstream side in a sewing direction, according to an inwardly recessed shape of a sewing line according to side seams of the object to be sewn.SOLUTION: A sewing system 1 includes: a second holding device 8; a second conveyance device 9 for conveying the second holding device 8 toward sewing positions 3 for sewing an object S to be sewn; and a control device 10. The second holding device 8 includes a pair of second holding parts 8A, 8B for holding the object S to be sewn from both end sides on the upstream side of a sewing direction SD.
