Zusammenfassung:To provide a method for producing medium-low carbon ferromanganese where both of the loss caused by manganese slag generation and evaporation loss are suppressed, and, as the total, the yield of manganese can be improved.SOLUTION: A method for producing medium-low ferromanganese comprises a process where a high carbon ferromanganese molten metal is charged to a reaction container 10 comprising a top-blown lance 16 and a bottom-blown tuyere 18, an oxygen-containing gas is blown from the top-blown lance 16, and further, an inert gas is blown-in from the bottom-blown tuyere 18 to perform decarburization refining, in which return slag generated by the past high ferromanganese decarburization refining is charged to the reaction container 10 before the high carbon ferromanganese molten metal decarburization refining and/or during the decarburization refining.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】マンガンのスラグ生成による損失と蒸発損失の両方を抑制してトータルとしてマンガンの歩留を向上できる中低炭素フェロマンガンの製造方法の提供。【解決手段】上吹きランス16と底吹き羽口18とを備えた反応容器10に高炭素フェロマンガン溶湯を装入し、上吹きランス16から酸素含有ガスを吹きつけるとともに、底吹き羽口18から不活性ガスを吹き込むことで脱炭精錬する中低炭素フェロマンガンの製造方法であって、前記高炭素フェロマンガン溶湯の脱炭精錬前および/または脱炭精錬中に過去の高炭素フェロマンガンの脱炭精錬で生成されたリターンスラグを前記反応容器10に装入する方法。【選択図】図1
