To provide a sheet processing device that can improve posture stability of an object to be processed while being processed.SOLUTION: A sheet processing device (work processing device 100) for processing a sheet material (sheet 1) includes: transportation means for transporting a sheet material; a processing tool for processing the sheet material; a processing tool contact/separation part for causing the processing tool to come into contact with and be separated from the sheet material; a processing tool movement part 120 for moving the processing tool in a crossing direction of crossing with a transportation direction in which the sheet material is transported; and a posture holding part 160 for holding a posture of the processing tool.
