Zusammenfassung:To inhibit sneaking of return current from a system in which a ground harness fails to a system in which a ground harness is normal.SOLUTION: An EPS control device 2 includes two electric systems using external power supplies 6A, 6B, the respective electric systems comprising: inverters 11A, 11B for driving a motor 1; control circuits 12A, 12B for controlling the inverters; and negative electrode connectors 14A, 14B that connect control system negative electrode lines 18A, 18B from a control system common ground 22, drive system negative electrode lines 17A, 17B, and negative electrode power supply lines 62A, 62B. The respective electric systems further comprise: a connection line 25 that connects the drive system negative electrode lines 17A, 17B; and a current state detection circuit 24 for detecting a current state of the connection line 25. On the basis of the current state, each of the control circuits detects an open failure of a connector in the same system, limits inverter control of the same system when the open failure is detected, and allows the inverter control of the same system to continue when no open failure is detected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】グランドハーネスが故障した系統からグランドハーネスが正常な系統へのリターン電流の回り込みを抑制する。【解決手段】外部電源6A,6Bによる2つの電気系統を有するEPS制御装置2は、各電気系統において、モータ1を駆動するインバータ11A,11Bと、インバータを制御する制御回路12A,12Bと、制御系共通グランド22からの制御系負極ライン18A,18Bと駆動系負極ライン17A,17Bと負極電源ライン62A,62Bとを接続する負極コネクタ14A,14Bと、を備えるとともに、駆動系負極ライン17A,17Bを接続する接続線25と、接続線25の電流状態を検出するための電流状態検出回路24と、を備える。制御回路は、電流状態に基づいて同一系統のコネクタのオープン故障を検知し、オープン故障の検知時に同一系統のインバータ制御を制限する一方、オープン故障の非検知時に同一系統のインバータ制御を継続させる。【選択図】図2
