Zusammenfassung: | To simplify the configuration of a circuit and reduce the cost by making it unnecessary to use a precise clock to detect a pulse width in adjusting the pulse width when a light-emitting element emitted by a vertical resonator plane emission laser is pulse-driven.SOLUTION: The laser driving device according to the present technique includes: a driving circuit unit for causing a light-emitting element to be emitted by a vertical resonator plane emission laser to emit and be driven according to a pulse signal; a pulse width detection unit for detecting a pulse width of the pulse signal on the basis of the potential of a capacitor when the capacitor is charged on the basis of the pulse signal; and a control unit for controlling the pulse signal to adjust the pulse width according to the result of detection of the pulse width.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
