Zusammenfassung:	To provide a cutting unit that a carpet tile, especially, its backing layer, can be cut in a suitable manner.SOLUTION: A cutting unit that cuts carpet tiles comprises a feed mechanism sending the carpet tiles in a conveyance direction and a rotating cutting blade that is located downstream of the feed mechanism, in a conveyance direction and pulls in and cuts the carpet tiles being sent from the feed mechanism.
