ROOT CROP HARVESTER

To hardly miss to harvest root crops even when stems and leaves thereof are spread and fallen in a root crop harvester equipped with a clamping and conveying unit clamping and conveying the stems and leaves of a root crop to an upper rearward and pulling out the root crop.SOLUTION: A root crop harvester comprises a grass-dividing section 17 for raising stems and leaves of a root crop to be harvested and supplying a clamping and conveying unit 6 therewith, provided in front of the clamping and conveying unit 6. The grass dividing section 17 includes: a grass-dividing body 21 extending in the longitudinal direction of a harvester body; a first grass-dividing bar 22 laterally extending, with its rear raising upward from the front end of the grass-dividing body 21 toward a start end of the clamping and conveying unit 6, and a second grass-dividing bar 23 laterally extending, with its rear raising upward from the grass-dividing body 21 toward the start end of the clamping and conveying unit 6 on a lower side of the rear part 22b of the first grass-dividing bar 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】根菜の茎葉部を後上方に挟持搬送して根菜を圃場から抜き上げる挟持搬送装置が備えられた根菜収穫機において、茎葉部が広がったり、倒れていたりしても、収穫漏れをできにくくする。【解決手段】挟持搬送装置６の前方に、収穫対象の根菜の茎葉部を引き起こして挟持搬送装置６に供給する分草部１７が設けられている。分草部１７は、機体前後方向に延びる分草体２１と、分草体２１の前端部から挟持搬送装置６の始端部に向けて後上がり、かつ横向きに延ばされた第１分草杆２２と、第１分草杆２２の後部２２ｂの下方において、分草体２１から挟持搬送装置６の始端部に向けて後上がり、かつ横向きに延ばされた第２分草杆２３と、を有している。【選択図】図３
