To accurately evaluate a state of an inspection object.SOLUTION: A state evaluation device hits a surface of an inspection object with a hammer 20 and detects a hitting sound by the hammer 20 with a plurality of microphones 25A to 25D. Evaluation value calculation sections 36A to 36D calculate a plurality of microphone-specific evaluation values Em using positions corresponding to the microphones 25A to 25D on the surface of the inspection object as evaluation points on the basis of the hitting sound collected by the plurality of microphones 25A to 25D.
