Zusammenfassung:To provide an air conditioner which can early find the leakage of a refrigerant gas even at an operation stop, and can secure the safety of a user, in the air conditioner having a combustible refrigerant as an operating refrigerant.SOLUTION: An air conditioner comprises: a box body; a blower; a suction port for sucking air from the outside of the box body by the blower; a blowout port for blowing out air from the inside of the box body by the blower; and a heat exchanger arranged in the middle of a wind circuit for connecting the suction port and the blowout port that exchanges heat between air and refrigerant. Auxiliary piping for arranging refrigeration piping between the inside and the outside of the box body is arranged at the heat exchanger. A refrigeration detection part for detecting the presence or absence of the refrigerant is arranged in the box body, outside the wind circuit, at a lower part of the auxiliary piping, and at a lower end of the heat exchanger or lower in a vertical direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】可燃性冷媒を動作冷媒として有する空気調和機において、運転停止時であっても、冷媒ガス漏洩を早期に発見し、使用者の安全性を確保することができる空気調和機を提供する。【解決手段】筐体と、送風機と、前記送風機により筐体の外部から空気を吸込む吸込口と、前記送風機により筐体の内部から空気を吹出す吹出口と、吸込口と吹出口とを結ぶ風回路の途中に配置し、空気と冷媒との間の熱交換器を行う熱交換器と、熱交換器には、筐体の内部と外部との間に冷媒配管を配設するための補助配管を具備した空気調和機において、筐体内で且つ風回路外であって、補助配管の下方にあり、なお且つ、鉛直方向で熱交換器の下端以下の位置に、冷媒の有無の検知を行う冷媒検知部を設ける。【選択図】図1
